CARSON CITY, Nevada: It's more than three years before the 2014 general election, but already six ballot measures have been proposed for the ballot in the state of Nevada.

Two measures listed are legislatively-referred constitutional amendments, one dealing with taxes, and another dealing with administration of government. A majority vote is required (in two successive sessions) of the Nevada State Legislature to qualify the proposed measure for the ballot.

The other four listed are ballot initiatives, one dealing with abortion and another dealing with gambling.
