Two Athens County Senior & Mental Health Levy Measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in Athens County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure sought to renew the current senior levy which is set at a rate of .75 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for senior services and facility costs in the county.

The second measure sought to replace the current mental health levy with one set at a rate of 1 mill for a further ten years in order to continue to pay for mental health and disability services in the county.[1]
