A Austintown Township Police Levy Replacement measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the township of Austintown which is in Mahoning County.
The measure was approved
- YES 3,963 (52.84%)
- NO 3,537 (47.16%)[1]
This measure sought to replace the current police levy with one set at a rate of $.20 per $100 of assessed property value for a continuing period of time in order to continue to pay for police protection services in the township.[2]
