Avon, Firelands & Lorain School District Levy Additions, 3 (November 2010)

Three School District Levy Addition measures were on the November 2, 2010 ballot in the school districts of Avon, Firelands and Lorain, which are all in Lorain County.

The Avon school measure sought to add to the current school property tax by a rate of $.59 per $100 of assessed property value for a further ten years in order to help provide for emergency requirements as needed by the school district.

The Firelands school measure sought to add to the current school property tax by a rate of $.40 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to help pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district.

The Lorain school measure sought to add to the current school property tax by a rate of $.91 per $100 of assessed property value for a further ten years in order to help pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district[1]
