A Avondale School District Bond Measure was on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the school district of Avondale which is in Oakland County.
This measure was approved
- YES 2,999 (56.32%)
- NO 2,326 (43.68%) [1]
This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $27,810,000 in order to help with making school buildings more energy efficient, installing upgraded technology and updating other school facilities.[2] This measure would not raise taxes, just continue the current rate of taxes which pay for bond payments currently.[3] A similar measure for the school district was supposed to be on the May 4, 2010 ballot but it was taken off, Avondale School District Bond Measure (May 2010).
