Avondale School District Bond Measure (August 2010)
This measure was approved
- YES 2,999 (56.32%)
- NO 2,326 (43.68%)
This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $27,810,000 in order to help with making school buildings more energy efficient, installing upgraded technology and updating other school facilities. This measure would not raise taxes, just continue the current rate of taxes which pay for bond payments currently. A similar measure for the school district was supposed to be on the May 4, 2010 ballot but it was taken off, Avondale School District Bond Measure (May 2010).
