Below is a list of paid internships available in 2012:

  1. Congress Project: The Congress Project on Ballotpedia is looking for three interns. Internships are open to current undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates.
  2. State Legislature Project: The State Legislature Project on Ballotpedia is looking for one intern. Internships are open to current undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates.

Dates: The internship is 10 weeks in length. Those 10 weeks are flexible. The earliest start date would be May 14. The 10 weeks must be completed by the end of August.

The work: Interns will work on either the Congressional or State Legislature election team, working on content additions to candidate profiles. The intern will gain experience with election night reporting, as well as Congressional research. The internship will provide an opportunity for an original research project that will be published on the wiki.

Compensation: This is a paid internship and interns will earn $9 per hour.

Final decisions will be made the week of April 23.

Interns will be accepted on a rolling basis so please don’t delay contacting us if you are interested.

Main Page

Judgepedia, an interactive encyclopedia of courts and judges, is looking for interns for Summer 2012.

Dates: Interns will work 20 hours/week for 9 weeks. There are two scheduling options:

  • May 7 through July 6 or
  • June 18 through August 17

Regardless of the period of employment, all applications are due by April 15.

The work: Interns will help launch the Trial Court Page Project on Judgepedia.
