Justin Haas is the Congress Associate Project Director. He has been on Ballotpedia's writing and research staff since June 2009.

In addition to research about the United States Congress, Haas has written profiles of state legislators and analyzed state legislative election data. He has also written profiles of judges on Judgepedia, an encyclopedia about America's courts and judges.

Haas studied computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

One of Haas' major contributions to Ballotpedia was to develop navigation templates that allows readers to explore each of the 50 state constitutions article-by-article and section-by-section.
