Ballotpedia:WikiProject State Ballot Measures/Years is a sub-project of Ballotpedia:WikiProject State Ballot Measures. The purpose of the "years" subproject is to organize work on each year's statewide ballot measures.

Goal

The goal of this sub-project is to have:

• A summary article, by year, of all statewide ballot measures on the ballot anywhere in the United States that year. Example: 2008 ballot measures.
• A summary article, by year/state, of all statewide ballot measures on the ballot in a certain year/state (such as Arizona 2006 ballot measures).

NOTE: When you complete some work on this project, please update the information below so the next editor/contributor will know where to start.

1989-2007

The April 2009 Collaboration of the Month was completing list-by-year articles for 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009.

• 1989, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 2001 and 2003 are in good shape. MMH 12:16, 5 April 2009 (CDT)

Year overviews

• Install the project template on the "talk" or "discussion" page of all articles of ballot measures by year going back to 1911. (This is finished for 1960-2010.)

• Finish adding all years to the {{ballot measures}} template (Template:Ballot measures) going back to 1911. (This is done through 1960).

Year/state overviews

• Install the project template and the appropriate state project template on the "talk" or "discussion" page of all state/year overview articles in the categories listed below. Please strike-out a category when you're finished with this task!

Templates by year

For every year, there should be a template that incorporates all the year/state combinations for that year. Example: Template:2009 ballot measures.

This template should be installed at the bottom of every year/state overview page for that year. For example:

• Template:2009 ballot measures should be installed on Washington 2009 ballot measures, Maine 2009 ballot measures and so on.
• Template:2009 ballot measures should also be installed on 2009 ballot measures.
