I added information about Template:LegisLinks to the External links section of the writing guidelines. It keeps the descriptions the same and also reminds writers to check what's available. For example, some may have appeared on C-SPAN. Also, Project Vote Smart changed this year, and now has a Summary page along with various subpages. If's easier to change one Template than every legislator. Also, they're now keeping past legislatures and candidates online. TomJx 11:27, 13 November 2012 (CST)
- Agreed, thanks for updating the guidelines. --Tyler King 12:38, 26 November 2012 (CDT)
The Project Vote Smart links in the External links section for each state legislature H and S articles should be deleted, as they no longer exist. GovTrack has started tracking bills in state legislatures, and the links can be added to the state legislature articles.
I updated Illinois, but is there a way to update the other states?
- I'll have our writers sweep through and clear out those dead links. We will also include the GovTrack links to chamber articles and possibly expand upon the info in the future. Thanks for the info! --Tyler King 12:38, 26 November 2012 (CDT)
