Barry Stout
J. Barry Stout was a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate from 1977 to 2010. He also served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1970 to 1976 and served as one of Pennsylvania's electors in the 1976 electoral college.
Stout graduated from Washington and Jefferson College with a bachelor's in economics in 1964 and attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Stout is a former funeral director.
On February 4, 2010, Stout said that he would not seek re-election due to a recently fractured pelvis which makes it difficult to serve. His term expired on November 30, 2010.[1]

On November 7, 2006, Stout was re-elected to Pennsylvania State Senate District 46.[3]
