Belleair Beach City Charter Amendments, 5 (March 2011)
Five Belleair Beach City Charter Amendment measures were on the March 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Belleair Beach which is in Pinellas County.
All five amendments were approved
The first charter amendment seeks to increase the length of terms for the mayor and council members to three years.
The second amendment seeks to consolidate the duties and responsibilities of the city manager.
The third amendment seeks to clarify existing procedures for the board of adjustments.
The fourth measure seeks to make it so that the city auditor and engineer are no longer personnel of the city.
The fifth amendment seeks to allow the city budget be submitted after the values are received from property appraisers.[1]
