Two Benton & Harrison Township Current Levy Replacement measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the townships of Benton and Harrison which are in Paulding County.

Both measures were approved

The Benton measure sought to replace the current expenses levy with one set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to continue to pay current expenses in the township.

The question on the ballot:

Benton Measure: A replacement of a tax for the benefit of BENTON TOWNSHIP for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.

Harrison Measure: A replacement of a tax for the benefit of HARRISON TOWNSHIP for the purpose of CURRENT EXPENSES at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
