Bernie Anderson (May 15, 1942-January 11, 2014[1]) was a Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly. He represented the 31st District from 1990 to 2010 serving as Speaker Pro Tempore. State term limits disqualified him from re-election in 2010.


Anderson earned his B.S. in Education from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1971. His professional experience included working as a teacher. He served as a staff sergeant in the Nevada Army National Guard from 1960 to 1967. He is a retired teacher.
