Betsy Wergin serves on the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission.[1] Wergin was appointed Commissioner August 1, 2008 and was reappointed December 16, 2009. Her term expires January 4, 2016.[1]


Wergin currently serves on the Board of Directors for Northland Regional Hospital, Fairview Hospitals Inc., and Elim Care Inc. Wergin was a Sherburne County Commissioner from 1995 to 2002 and served as Township Officer from 1987 to 1994.[1]


Wergin completed courses in business, art and psychology at St. Cloud State College, Northwestern College and Minnesota Technical Schools.[1] She also completed the Rapport Leadership International Training.[1]
