Bexley City Charter Amendments, 4 (November 2011)

Four Bexley City Charter Amendment measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the city of Bexley which is in Franklin County.

Three of the four measures were approved

The first measure sought to amend the charter so as to eliminate the County Auditor position and replace it with an appointed Finance Director.

The second measure sought to amend the charter so as to allow drive through food services on Livingston Ave.

  • YES 3,817 (72.5%)Approveda
  • NO 1,448 (27.5%)

The third measure sought to amend the charter to make provisions for an absent Mayor, removing and or replacing councilors.

  • YES 3,667 (74.65%)Approveda
  • NO 1,245 (25.35%)

The fourth measure sought to amend the charter so as to make it that all public bodies would be subject to open meeting standards.[1]
