Bill Salin was a 2012 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House representing the 5th Congressional District of Indiana. He lost in the Republican primary.[1]

Politico listed the 5th district race as one of the five primaries to watch in 2012.[2]

Salin was born in Clinton, Indiana and attended high school there.[3]

Salin ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Indiana's 5th District. Salin and six other candidates lost to Susan Brooks in the May 8 Republican primary.[1]

Personal

Salin is married to his wife, Svetlana, and together they have a six year old son named Jonathan. They currently live in Franklin Township, Indiana.[3]
