Billy Hewes (b. October 27, 1961) is a former Republican member of the Mississippi State Senate, representing the 49th Senatorial District.

Hewes joined the Mississippi State Senate in 1992 and served in that position until 2012. He served as Senate President Pro Tempore from 2007 to 2012.

Hewes has been Owner/Agent of Billy Hewes III Insurance Agency from 1985 to the present. He has also been a Real Estate Broker for Billy Hewes Real Estate since 1989.

Hewes earned his Bachelor's from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1984.
