The Birchwood Exceed Revenue Limits referendum was a school bond issue on the November 4 ballot in the School District of Birchwood, which is in Washburn County. The purpose of the referendum was to exceed the state-set revenue cap by $325,000 in 2008-2009 and again in 2009-2010 for a total of $650,000, and add those funds to the school budget. The additional funds would be used to purchase instructional materials and other support for instructional quality.
