Oshiro is an Associate Attorney with Alston, Hunt, Floyd and Ing, and an Associate Attorney with Wong, Oshima, and Kondo.

Oshiro, Governor Neil Abercrombie's chief of staff, was rumored as a possible appointee to Daniel Inouye's U.S. Senate seat following the Senator's death on December 17, 2012. On December 26, 2012, Governor Neil Abercrombie (D) named his Lieutenant Governor, Brian E. Schatz, to fill the vacancy. Although he was not appointed, Oshiro could still potentially run for election to the remainder of the term in 2014.[3][4]
2010
Oshiro won re-election to the 33rd District Seat in 2010. Oshiro defeated Gary Okino in the September 18 primary. The general election took place on November 2, 2010. Sam Kong ran on the Republican ticket for this seat.[5]
