Three Blendon Township Levy Renewal measures were on the August 3, 2010 ballot in the township of Blendon which is in Ottawa County.

Two of the three measures were approved

The first measure sought to renew the current fire levy of $1.46 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further four years in order to provide funds for the operation and maintenance costs of the safety and fire services in the township.

The second measure sought to increase the current library levy by $.30 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further three years in order to provide funds for the continued library services offered in the township.

  • YES 1,196 (63.41%) Approveda
  • NO 768 (41.9%)

The third measure sought to increase the current road levy by $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed property for a further four years in order to pay funds for road maintenance and improvements in the township.[1]
