A Bloomfield Foley Field Referendum measure was on the ballot on April 20, 2010 in the city of Bloomfield which is in Essex County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 3,179 (55.63%)Approveda
  • NO 2,536 (44.37%)[1]

This measure sought to try again to allow for the Foley field to be repaired and renovated. The previous measure, Bloomfied Foley Field Bond Measure (March 2010) was defeated but some residents were adamant to have this put back on the ballot for another try. Students presented their needs for their own field and the proposed measure is a scaled down version of the March issue. This measure will add $42.91 a year to local property taxes on average.[2]
