Heaton won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 46. Heaton ran unopposed in the May 8 Republican primary and defeated James R. Mann, II (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
2010
Heaton defeated Democratic candidate Bionca Gambill by a margin of 10,918 to 6,791. Democratic incumbent Vern Tincher did not run for re-election. [3] The general election took place on November 2, 2010.
