Campaign themes

2011

Kolenberg's 2011 special election Campaign site emphasizes his record of service as a member of the Stamford Board of Finance:

  • "[Kolenberg] decided to get involved and do something. That “something” was to run for, and win, a seat on the Stamford Board of Finance. A seat from which he could speak out and vote against the special interests that were draining our tax dollars. A seat from which he could initiate action to reduce the waste in city government. A seat from which he could shout “Enough” and be heard up and down the corridors of city government. A seat from which he could have a significant impact on how we’re governed. A seat from which he could look out for you and your tax dollars. In sum, Bob Kolenberg was able to make a difference as your voice in city government." [2]
