Bob Walker recall, Sand Springs, Oklahoma (2010)

An effort to recall Bob Walker from his position as the Ward 4 city council member in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, was launched in July 2010.

Cindy Bacon, a leader in the recall effort, indicated that the decision of the Sand Springs City Council to approve the idea of building a 56-unit apartment complex near 51st Street and State Highway 97 was a primary factor in motivating support for the recall.
