Biography
Kearan was born in Fort Rucker, AL. His parents separated when he was very young and he moved with his younger brother to Mississippi to live with his grandparents, Vannie and Jewelene Shumaker of the Hinze Rural Hill Community of Winston County, when he was 10 years old.[1]
His interest in Government began in High School when he took a senior level Civics course as a freshman. He joined the Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees) as a charter member of the Winston County chapter in 1995 for the opportunity of Community Service.
He worked for a few small telecommunications companies in Louisville, Starkville and Jackson before moving to Rankin County in 2001. He has worked as a computer technician for a Mississippi based regional financial institution since 2005.
