Bobby Kearan was a hopeful Reform candidate for Governor of Mississippi in the 2011 elections. Kearan and Shawn O'Hara both claimed to represent the official Reform Party, and the Mississippi State Board of Elections ruled in early September 2011 that the state would only recognize O'Hara's candidacy and that Kearan's name would not appear on the general election ballot.

Biography

Kearan was born in Fort Rucker, AL. His parents separated when he was very young and he moved with his younger brother to Mississippi to live with his grandparents, Vannie and Jewelene Shumaker of the Hinze Rural Hill Community of Winston County, when he was 10 years old.[1]
