- NO 2,418 (45.47%)[1]
This measure sought to allow village officials to collectively buy electricity in bulk for residents and small businesses in order to obtain lower rates. Residents and businesses would be able to opt out of the program if they did not want to join.[2] Village officials had been encouraging a vote in favor of this measure, noting that everyone would benefit and those communities which already have this in place are doing well.[3]
