Bonnie Nelson was a 2010 Democratic candidate for District 16 of the Alaska House of Representatives.


Nelson earned her B.A. in education from Florida Atlantic University. She then attended the University of Alaska, where she studied Special Education/Paralegal Studies/Justice/Public Administration.

Nelson has worked as a teacher, counselor, and legal researcher.

Nelson ran for election in the 2010 election for Alaska House of Representatives District 16. Nelson ran unopposed in the August 24 Democratic primary and was defeated by Bill Stoltze (R) in the general election, which took place on November 2, 2010.[1]
