The Boscobel Exceed Revenue Limits referendum is a school bond issue on the November 4, 2008 ballot in the School District of Boscobel, Wisconsin. The purpose of the referendum is to add funds to the school budget over the state-set revenue cap. The additional funds would be used to help maintain facilities and educational programs. The additional amounts add up to $1,650,000 over three years.

Actual Wording

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE School Board of the School District of Boscobel Area Schools, Grant, Crawford, and Richland Counties, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District budget be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $500,000 for the 2009-2010 school year, $550,000 for the 2010-2011 school year and $600,000 for the 2011-2012 school year, (for a total of $1,650,000) for nonrecurring purposes consisting of paying the costs of maintaining the educational programs, facilities and equipment of the District.
