Roae earned his BS in Business Administration from Gannon University in 1990.
From 1992 to 2006, Roae worked as a Commercial Underwriter for Erie Insurance. He has worked for East Mead Volunteer Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter from since 1998.
Roae joined the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2007. He has served in that position since, representing the 6th District.
