Munzlinger is a farmer. He earned his Teaching Certificate in agriculture from the University of Missouri and BS in General Agriculture from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
He is a shooting instructor with 4-H Shooting Sports, Deacon/Sunday School Teacher at Bunker Hill Christian Church, and a member of the Missouri Cattlemens Association, Missouri Chamber of Commerce, Missouri Corn Growers Association, Missouri Farm Bureau, Missouri Grain Processors Co-operative, Missouri Soybean Association, National Federation of Independent Business, Northeast Missouri Grain Processors Co-op ethanol plant Board of Directors, University of Missouri Alumni Association, and the Greenley Research Center Advisory Board at the University of Missouri.
