Nugent ran in the 2012 election for Idaho House of Representatives District 29A. He lost to Dave Bowen in the Republican primary on May 15, 2012. Nate Murphy was unopposed in the Democratic primary, but later withdrew and was replaced by Carolyn Meline.[1] Bob Croker is running as an Independent. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4][5]
