|Montana House of Representatives, District 8|
MacLean outlined her platform on her website:
Economic & Workforce Growth
It's time to lower taxes, create incentives, and make certain that workers, families, and small businesses thrive! More than ever, it is critical to be creative; to create new jobs and formulate new policies for changing times.
New Energy Sources & New Energy Jobs
We need American energy -- produced in Montana -- by Montana workers. I will advocate for technical training for a host of new jobs and trades that are cutting-edge and high paying; jobs that will sustain our families and our state.
Training and Quality Education
I will strongly support quality education; pre-kindergarten through college and technical school. Our children and our workforce are our future. Every student and classroom must have the funding and support they need. Quality education will determine the success of our young people, keep our families living and working in Montana, and make college and technical training a reality for every Montanan.
Working to Keep Montana our Treasure State
I will stand up for Montanan's constitutional right to access rivers, streams and public lands. I will also advocate for policies that keep our water clean, our open spaces protected, and our habitats improved for hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation.
