Bruce Chandler

Bruce Chandler is a member of the Washington State House of Representatives, the lower house in the Washington State Legislature. Rep. Chandler is serving his sixth term representing the 15th District, which includes all of Klickitat and Skamania counties and part of Yakima and Clark counties. Bruce focuses on policies promoting water storage, economic growth and the safety of Washington’s families.

House responsibilities

Bruce is the ranking minority member on the State Government and Local Affairs Committee. In 2008, Bruce was recognized by the Coalition for Open Government with the Key Award. He also received the Guardian of Small Business Award from the National Federation of Independent Businesses, of which he is a member. He is active in two boards focused on Washington’s economic growth in the Northwest and abroad.

Background

Bruce and his wife Julie have three grown children. They own and operate a commercial fruit orchard near Granger.
