Bruce Rogers is a 2014 Republican candidate for District 34 of the Michigan House of Representatives. He was a Republican candidate for District 34 in 2010 and 2012.


Rogers started as an automotive technician, later becoming Service Operations Manager in charge of consumer, dealership franchise, and corporate service business for General Motors in the south central United States.[1]

Rogers earned two certificates from Genesee Area Skill Center, and attended Mott Community College.

Elections for the office of Michigan House of Representatives will consist of a primary election on August 5, 2014, and a general election on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Eight challengers face off in the Democratic primary. Bruce Rogers is unopposed in the Republican primary.[2]

Rogers ran in the 2012 election for Michigan State House District 34. He ran unopposed in the August 7 Republican primary and was defeated by incumbent Woodrow Stanley (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.
