Bruce Township Police Levy Increase (February 2012)
This measure was defeated
- YES 471
- NO 1,416
This measure sought to increase the current police levy by a rate of $2 per $1,000 of assessed property value for a further four years in order to pay for police protection services in the township. Currently the township does not have its own police force and this money would have helped pay for those services. A special assessment district would have been created if this measure had been approved.
