Bryan Allen was a Democratic candidate for District 6 of the Pennsylvania State Senate. The primary election was on May 18, 2010 and the general election was on November 2, 2010.

Allen defeated John Jordan in the May 18 Democratic primary and defeated Republican Robert Tomlinson in the November 2 general election.[1]

Campaign themes

According to Allen's campaign website, he focused on the following two issues[2]:

  • Fix Education Funding Excerpt: "Bryan believes in an education funding formula that gives every child the same chance to succeed while not placing an insurmountable tax burden on our seniors and working families."
  • Leaner, More Responsive Government Excerpt: "Bryan supports putting a constitutional convention on the November ballot to allow the citizens of Pennsylvania to decide what kind of government and how much government they want."
