Two Burton Township Fire & Street Levy Renewal measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the township of Burton which is in Geauga County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure sought to renew the current fire levy which is set at a rate of .9 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the township.

  • NO 288 (30.22%)

The second measure sought to renew the current street levy which is set at a rate of 1.1 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for street, road and bridge repair and maintenance costs in the township.[1]
