The Ban on Killing a Viable Unborn Baby Prior to Birth Act (08-0002) was a proposed initiated constitutional amendment to the California Constitution. Its supporters hoped to collect 694,354 valid signatures by April 21, 2008 in order to qualify it for the November 2008 ballot in California, but they did not meet this requirement.
