California Labor Federation
"The California Labor Federation is made up of more than 1,200 AFL-CIO and Change to Win unions, representing 2.1 million union members in manufacturing, retail, construction, hospitality, public sector, health care, entertainment and other industries."[1] This organization promotes and defends the interests of working people and their families. They do this by staying involved in all levels of politics from legislative campaigns to grassroots organizing.[1]

"The California Labor Federation is governed by an executive secretary-treasurer and a president. In addition, 42 vice-presidents representing affiliated unions and central labor councils are elected by biennial convention into the executive council of the Federation."[2]
