California Proposition 39 (1914)
From Ballotpedia
Proposition 39 appeared on the ballot in California in 1914 as an initiated constitutional amendment. Its goal was the suspension of the Prohibition Amendment, specifically, to suspend the proposed amendment (if it passed--it was on the same 1914 ballot) from taking effect until February 15, 1915.
Proposition 39 was approved at the polls, but the Prohibition Amendment itself failed, making Prop. 39 moot.
