Proposition 47 was on the ballot in California in 1914 as an initiated constitutional amendment. Its goal was to prohibit, for a period of eight years, ballot initiatives prohibiting alcohol.

d Proposition 47 was defeated at the polls. It was on the same ballot as Proposition 2, The Prohibition Amendment, which also failed.
