California Proposition 7, State Horseracing Commission (1912)

Proposition 7 appeared on the California ballot in 1912. It proposed a new state statute via initiative, and it was defeated.

Proposition 7 was a measure to prohibit bookmaking and pool-selling, and to provide for the appointment of a state racing commission to grant licenses for horse racing.
