California Proposition 9, Regulation of Investment Companies (1914)

Proposition 9 appeared on the ballot in California in 1914 as an initiated state statute. Its goal was to provide for the regulation of investment companies by an auditor of investments appointed by the governor.

It was defeated at the polls.
