California Voter Foundation
CVF was founded in 1989 by then-California Secretary of State March Fong Eu, and then re-founded in 1994 by Kim Alexander.
Since 1994, CVF has produced its "California Online Voter Guide" with information about statewide election contests, including those for California ballot propositions.

Thoughts on initiative process
In December 2009, Alexander said "There's a lot of mystery already in voting in California, and then that problem is compounded with the initiatives process and the fact that we have so many state and local measures to vote on."[1]
