California voters approve nearly all June 4 local ballot measure elections

California: On June 4 voters in eight California counties voted on a total of nine ballot measures. Measures included a utility tax, parcel taxes, continuation of an appropriations limit and an amendment to the city charter. A total of six measures were approved, while two were defeated.
