A Canaan Township Levy Renewal question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Wayne County, which is in Ohio, where it was approved.

This question authorized the Township of Canaan to renew a property tax levy of up to 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for three years in order to fund construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of roads and bridges.[1]

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Canaan Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of roads and bridges at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for three (3) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.[1]
