Candidate filing deadline passes in South Dakota

PIERRE, South Dakota: On March 27, South Dakota's candidate filing deadline passed for partisan candidates. Independent candidates have until June 5, 2012 to file their petitions. The end of the filing period means that primary candidate lists are now available on Ballotpedia.[1]
