A Canyons School District Bond Measure was on the June 22, 2010 ballot in the school district of Canyons, which is in Salt Lake County.

Unofficial results have this measure passing

  • YES 50.68% Approveda
  • NO 49.32%[1]

This is a newly created school district and now they were asking to create a bond in the amount if $250 million in order to help build new school buildings as well as renovating older buildings. Taxes will not be raised to pay for the bond, but also will not decrease as is expected throughout the rest of the county in coming years. A new high school would be the main project with the bond money.[2]
