Cape Girardeau School District No. 63 Bond Measure (April 2010)
This measure was approved
- YES 3,585 (61.26%)
- NO 2,267 (38.74%)
School officials were glad for the outcome and felt the burden of making the plans move forward with voter approval. The last school bonds were approved in 2000.
This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $40,000,000 in order to help construct, furnish and renovate school buildings in the district. Local property taxes would not increase if the measure was approved.
