Trujillo was an assistant state attorney for the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida from 2007 to 2011. Previously, he was a training attorney in the County Court Division. He also served as a juvenile court representative. Trujillo received his B.S. in International Business from Spring Hill College and his J.D. from Florida State University. He and his wife, Carmen, have one son.
